Feel gratitude for what you cannot yet see.
Simply allow yourself to linger on this thought for a moment.
You are giving thanks for a reality that has simply not yet arrived in the outer, visible world.
When I write about "being grateful," I don't mean some gratitude lists or merely appreciating what you already have in your life.
Because that is exactly how I did it myself for years: I wrote lists of things (regardless of whether they were already there or not) that I am or could be grateful for, and I prayed my "gratitude," which in truth was desperation, up and down. Day after day. Because I thought that is exactly how it works with "being grateful." And what happened in my life? Nothing. Zero. Everything stayed the same.
However, I kept studying. Reading, learning, attending seminars, and finally completing training with Bob. I delved deep into the subject matter – and at some point, I finally understood.
True gratitude is about something far more powerful than writing lists or carrying around cards with terms you are supposed to be grateful for.
In truth, it is about becoming so deeply aware of the creative power within you that you dare to thank the still-invisible.
That you have the courage to feel deep gratitude for something for which there is currently not a single shred of evidence in the outside world.
That you thank creation for an event that, purely "rationally" in the world of matter, has not even taken place yet.
That is all it is about; that is the only thing that works and will have an effect.
And not because you are faking a positive feeling through gratitude. But because through felt gratitude, you are truly claiming the state of "already having."
If you feel real, deep gratitude for something that is not yet visible, you are not lying to yourself.
Rather, you are adopting the state of your already fulfilled desire. You anchor yourself firmly in the end result and live within it.
And since your consciousness is the actual reality, what you focus on in gratitude must, in the end, also show up in the material world.
This is not simple "positive thinking." This is creation and taking real responsibility for your own outer world. It is a practice that will change your entire life.
And it is the most misunderstood practice of all: gratitude for the invisible.
Gratitude, therefore, not as a reaction to what is already there. But as the foundation for what is yet to be.
Gratitude for the unborn is not a spiritual game; it is, in truth, the highest form of your inner authority. Once you have understood this practice, you will never look at gratitude the same way again.
Most people – and I myself belonged to this group for most of my life – live in a state of mere reaction:
If something good happens in the outer world, they are grateful; if something bad happens, they react with fear or resentment.
Their entire emotional world is thus determined by external circumstances. That is the unconscious person who does not yet know who they truly are.
This is not a judgment – we all start exactly there. Despite my theoretical knowledge, it still happens to me very often today, several times a day, that I react to the outer world with strong emotions. That is normal; it is a learning process that never ends.
But the actual goal lies beyond passivity.
You are here because you need to recognize within yourself that your consciousness is the cause and the outer world is only the effect. You are not helplessly at the mercy of the material world; you are its creator.
The most important "rule" is therefore:
Anticipate the feeling of the fulfilled desire. Live in the already fulfilled state. Feel as if you were already the person you want to be, or as if you already had what you desire.
In the beginning, one usually uses visualization for this. You close your eyes, create an inner scene that proves your success, and feel it quite really.
As you delve deeper into this subject matter, you eventually realize that the inner visualization of the scene is not the actual goal.
It is merely a tool to put you into a certain state of consciousness (into a feeling) – because the state itself is what creates. The inner scene is simply the bridge to it.
The key to success lies in the state of the already fulfilled desire: every state has a very specific feeling that you have to work out for yourself. The state of prosperity feels free and secure in a certain way, the state of "being healthy" has a completely different energy, and freedom and success also have their own emotional atmosphere.
If you internally occupy one of these states and consistently feel yourself in it, the world must eventually mirror it. Because your environment is ultimately just your inner world projected outward.
The most reliable sign that you are truly embodying the state of "I already have the thing or person in my life now" – and not just visiting it briefly in your imagination – is the feeling of gratitude.
By this, I don't mean a laboriously forced or artificial emotion, but rather that natural, quiet gratitude that arises all by itself when something firmly belongs to your life.
Because when a thing or a person is securely anchored in your life, you no longer worry. You don't constantly check in fear whether it is still there. You simply live with it, and every now and then a wave of calm gratitude flows through you. That is exactly the emotional signature of the state of "I already have the thing or person in my life now".
So if gratitude is the natural attitude of "possessing," then your thanks for the still-invisible is not a psychological trick or self-deception.
It is the required state of feeling itself, which you must take possession of emotionally so that it can be mirrored back to you in the material world with a time delay.
You act as if the desire were already fulfilled by putting yourself into this feeling.
The secret always lies only in the feeling itself. If you really already have what you desire, you are grateful. Because it belongs to you. We must work out this state together in coaching, and you must learn to hold it internally. Regardless of what the outer world is showing you at the moment.
The world you perceive through your sensory organs is basically just a time-delayed shadow of your previous inner state. The future does not simply come toward you passively; you choose it in the here and now – through the inner state you are feeling right now.
So when you are grateful for something you do not yet see, you are acting in perfect harmony with the Law of Vibration.
You then recognize your consciousness as the only true cause.
Be grateful for what has not yet manifested. Feel it with your feeling, not with your mind. Feel the redeeming lightness of having.
If you hold this state, things will enter your life quite naturally and effortlessly – as if they had always been there.
Your inner assumption becomes physical fact when you persistently hold onto it, even when the current facts contradict it. And they actually always do, in an unpleasant way.
You do not assume something because it is already true on the outside; you always assume it first on the inside so that it then becomes true on the outside.
Often people say "thank you, thank you, thank you" in a somewhat mechanical way, but are basically still full of fear and waiting impatiently for a sign on the outside. That is the wrong way.
Do not let the external facts dictate your inner state any longer.
"Do not react" was one of Bob Proctor's favorite phrases.
I will be forever grateful to him for teaching me the principle of not reacting.
So never let the outside world dictate to you who you are or what is possible for you. You alone choose and determine. And the outer world will deliver it. It has to.
If you learn to be grateful for the unfinished, regardless of what your senses (still) show you at the moment, then you will be able to manifest on cue, quite specifically.
